BIS Recruitment 2023: Management Executive Positions Open, Check Eligibility, Salary, and Application Process

The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) has released a notification for the recruitment of Management Executives on a contract basis. Applicants are required to have a minimum of five years of relevant experience in Central Government/State Government/Union Territory Government/Statutory/Autonomous Body/Public Sector Undertaking/reputed Government agency/Private Sector Organization with countrywide operations.

The maximum age limit for candidates applying for the Management Executive positions is 45 years.

Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary of Rs. 1.50 lakh, subject to statutory deductions. Additionally, a 5% annual raise of the total monthly compensation is permissible based on performance and evaluation. No TA/DA will be provided for commencing or concluding the assigned tasks. In cases where travel is necessary as part of official assignments, a regular BIS officer of Level Sc-B will receive TA/DA and accommodation allowances.

The tenure for the appointed Management Executives will initially be two years, with the possibility of a one-year extension. BIS reserves the right to terminate the engagement of Management Executives by giving a 30-day notice. If an officer wishes to resign, they must also provide a 30-day notice in advance or payment in lieu of notice.

The selection process for BIS Recruitment 2023 will involve a personal interview. The screening committee will review all applications and shortlist candidates based on the eligibility criteria. BIS retains the right to reject any or all applications without providing a reason.
